Lea Michele and Matt Morrison to Perform at Tonys
Friday, June 4th, 2010The 2010 Tony Awards are welcoming two “Glee” stars as performers – Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison. Both Michele and Morrison are veterans of the Great White Way, so it’s no surprise that they would be asked to perform for Broadway’s biggest night.
Also performing are casts of “La Cage aux Folles” featuring Kelsey Grammer, “A Little Night Music,” “Fela!,” “Memphis,” “Million Dollar Quartet,” “Ragtime,” “Come Fly Away,” “Everyday Rapture,” “Promises, Promises” and “American Idiot” with band Green Day, whose music provides the soundtrack for “Idiot.”
Sean Hayes of “Will & Grace” fame and current star in “Promises, Promises” will host the the awards live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 13. The awards air live on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET (tape-delayed for the West Coast). The full list of performers and presenters can be found at the official Tonys website

Monday, May 24th, 2010If you’re a Glee fan, the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles was the place to be on May 22. That night, the audience at the newly launched Glee concert tour was treated to a special surprise guest: Jonathan Groff! After playing the recurring role of rival high school singing star Jesse St. James on the show, Groff joined his real-life best friend Lea Michele on stage for an impromptu duet of “Hello,” the first song they ever sang together on the hit TV show.
