Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were spotted tucking into a tasty-looking lunch as they dined al fresco in the Saint Germain des Pres district of Paris on July 3. Lea, 25, and her 30-year-old beau treated themselves to a slap-up meal at the famous Les Deux Magots eatery. She wore a sleeveless cream blouse tucked into black trousers and wore her brunette tresses in a low ponytail.

After enjoying a romantic European getaway, the two were homeward bound as they checked out of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Paris, France on Tuesday (July 3).

In a black and white sweater and riding boots, the “Glee” actress and her matching on-and-off screen boyfriend stopped to take a picture with a few fans before heading off to the airport to board a departing flight bound for the States.

Lea’s “summer hiatus European adventures” ended in Paris, where she attended the Versace Haute-Couture show with Cory Monteith as part of Paris Fashion Week at the Ritz hotel on July 1, 2012.

This year in our sixth annual Hot 100 reader poll, over 170,000 votes were cast by our readers for over 1,700 different women. We tallied the votes and ranked the top 100 vote-getters.

What’s so interesting every year is how perceived hotness fluctuates. TV actresses always make a strong showing, so much that they even stick around when their show goes off the air. But where The L Word and Skins actresses used to reign, now Glee, Lip Service, Lost Girl and even the women of web series cut in to give them some stiff competition.

The movie star types and out lesbian/bisexual women we love are fairly consistent. It’s hard to imagine a year when some of them wouldn’t make the list, especially those that have taken the top honor in a previous year. About one quarter of the this year’s list are out women and, interestingly, all of the musicians who made the list are part of that stat. Most of the actors, however, have played a lesbian or bisexual role at some point in their career, with a few notable exceptions. (You guys don’t discriminate! And there’s always hope.)

Overall, the commonality seems to be women with an edge. There are no cookie-cutter types on our list. Sure, some might have girl-next-door looks, but they aren’t interested in taking the easy way, whatever their paths might be. Whether it’s just living life as an out celebrity or taking roles that challenge the status quo, AfterEllen.com readers celebrate women who are more than just aesthetically pleasing. We hope even if your top pick didn’t make it this year, you can at least be proud to be part of something that is more substantive than Maxim’s Hot 100, which is why this whole thing began in the first place. On June 25, Glee actress Lea Michele helped Prince Azim celebrate his 30th birthday. The star-studded birthday bash was held at the Dorchester Hotel in London, where fans waited outside to catch a glimpse of Lea and cast mate Matthew Morrison.

Lea tweeted her excitement about seeing her Glee pals and getting glam for her London night-out. The actress got all dressed up in Versace, as noted by The Fashion Patrol. Lea’s black sheath featured linked straps on its neckline and a leg-baring slit. This made for a sexy, but not over-the-top outfit from Glee’s Rachel Berry. While a more elegant sandal would have been better, Lea Michele’s Christian Louboutin ankle strap pumps worked. A sleek ponytail and minimal make-up completed her London look.

Lea joined a host of other celebs at Prince Azim’s birthday party. The Telegraph spotted actresses Faye Dunaway, Pamela Anderson, Marisa Tomei, and Raquel Welch, as well as singer Mariah Carey.

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are getting in top shape this summer to tackle the physically demanding stories awaiting them this fall on Glee. I caught up with the real-life couple at the 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball benefiting L.A.’s homeless and cosponsored by Grey Goose Vodka.

When Glee returns to Fox on Sept. 13, Kate Hudson will have joined the cast as a hard-ass New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts dance instructor, pitting her against new student Rachel (Michele). “Dance is not Rachel’s strong point, but as a freshman it’s a requirement class she has to take,” Michele says. “It will put Rachel in a very vulnerable place, stuck with a teacher who doesn’t make it easy for her.”

When Michele admits that dancing “is definitely not my strong point, either,” Monteith jokingly pipes in that his girl will be spending her summer “enrolled in tap classes on Wednesdays and hip-hop on Thursdays.”

As for Monteith’s Finn, it sounds as though he’s headed to Army boot camp! “Finn would have to be in very good shape and get incredibly fit, meaning I would have to be incredibly fit,” says the actor. “I’m doing extra stuff this summer — CrossFit and fewer Snickers bars.”

And Kurt (Chris Colfer)? Expect him to find his way to New York City — but not as a student at NYADA, which will hold firm on its rejection. Instead, “he will find himself in an establishment where Sarah Jessica Parker is his manager of sorts, but not in a performance sense,” Colfer told me at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

Michele has heard that Parker’s character may be giving Rachel a makeover, which suggests a New York fashion-world story line for Kurt. Says Colfer: “Lea’s a hot girl, [but] Rachel could lose the baby-doll dresses.”

Lea makes an appearance on bethenny in an episode airing Thursday (June 21). Lea paired her Armani dress with a J Brand jacket, Dolce&Gabbana shoes, and Dana Rebecca Designs jewelry.

Lea chatted about Glee – confirming she’ll “be back” for another season – and also got candid about flaunting her curves.

“They’re all mine. I just don’t know. I think that lately, everyday they’re like please, give us a chance. Give us shot,” she joked.

Lea Michele is looking to start a family. While the Glee actress isn’t getting ahead of herself, the entertainer is definitely thinking about the idea. Taking time to talk about kids, Lea Michele was chatting up her desires of having kids with Bethenny Frankel on the Bethenny show on Thursday.

When asked about kids, Lea Michele got giddy. Offering to babysit Bethenny’s child, there is no doubt the actress really loves children. When asked about if she was going to have kids in the future, Lea Michele couldn’t have been more direct.

“Definitely! I am Italian I want to have as many as I can,” said Lea Michele on the Bethenny show. Extremely enthusiastic, Michele gave a big smile when talking about the idea of offspring.

Currently on Glee, Lea Michele’s eagerness will have to at least wait a season as the actress is currently playing a high school student that is on her way to New York City. As the actress indicated her involvement with the next season, she didn’t reveal who else might be coming back to Glee next season.

The answer is “yes!” If you ask Tony-award winning actor John Gallagher, Jr., anyway. John starred opposite Lea Michele in Broadway’s Spring Awakening back in 2006, and he says it was apparent even then that she was destined for great things.

“I think she was just born a star,” he told E! Online. “She was about 17 or 18 when I first met her at the first workshop I did for Spring Awakening. She absolutely walked into that room and she was like, you know, Barbra Streisand. I said, ‘Oh, yes, absolutely it’s going to happen for this girl — and very quickly.’ I’m very happy for her.”

Class at William McKinley High School will be back in session Sept. 13 when “Glee” returns to Fox for a fourth season. As previously reported, the series will move to Thursday nights at 9 PM ET.

The upcoming season of “Glee,” which will feature Kate Hudson (“Nine”) and Sarah Jessica Parker (Once Upon a Mattress) in multi-episode story arcs, will air after the reality competition “The X Factor.”

According to press notes, “With McKinley’s senior class graduated and Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) off to NYADA, change is in the air this fall for the ‘Glee’ club.”
